TRIPS TOO LOW

Possible Cause: Remedy:
Improper test weight. Check to see that the test weight has the same set point pressure stamped on it that the valve is set for.
Improper set weights. Check to see that the weights have the weight stamped on them and that is required according to the ID tag on the valve.

TRIPS TOO HIGH

Possible Cause:         Remedy:
Improper test weight.         Check to see that the test weight has the same set point pressure stamped on it that the valve is set for.
Improper set weights installed in valve.         Check to see that the weights have the weight stamped on them that is required according to the ID tag on the valve.
Contamination or buildup on Operator.         Clean as described in Maintenance Section.
Contamination or product buildup.         Replace Valve Seal as described in Maintenance Section.
Mechanical damage to Operator.         Replace Operator.
Mechanical damage to axle or bearings.         Replace axle and bearings.
