  • ALL STEEL HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION

    Built for continuous duty use, ERL's Pilot House Chair will provide years of comfortable, safe wheelhouse service. Excellent stability is provided by a 5 leg base, the heavy 3" dia. vertical post topped by a 2.5" solid trunion bearing and 11 gauge seat pan and back are well suited to the demanding environment of the pilot house.

  • DURABLE MOLDED ARMRESTS

    Each injection molded arm rest can rotate upward out of the way when not needed. Should an arm rest become damaged or worn, replacement arms can be installed in minutes without tools.

  • COMFORTABLE SEAT CUSHIONS

    Both seat and back cushions utilize premium grade dense foam material for the best combination of comfort and long life. Seat cushion covers are a combination of heavy black fabric and Naugahyde. An Optional lumbar support is also available. Should a seat back or bottom become worn, replacement cushions are easily installed in minutes.

  • ERGONOMICALLY APPEALING AND SAFE

    The 3" dia. vertical post has 5" of vertical adjustment allowing the pilot to establish the most safe viewing height from the pilot house. Adjusting the angle of the back rest again enhances the pilot's view and reduces fatigue. Individual adjustment of the arm rests and the optional adjustable lumbar back rest are always appreciated by boat pilots. Also, the fact that the 5 legged base accepts either flat nylon glides or casters allow the chair's mobility to be customized.
